Online registration for Int’l Nutrition Olympiad launched

Online registration for International Nutrition Olympiad has been launched at Department of ICT (DoICT).

This is one of the biggest Olympiads held every year since 2017 with the collaboration of Nutrition Club founded by BIID in 2015. Its host partner is Food, Planning and Monitoring Unit, the Ministry of Food, said a press release.

The inaugural ceremony was held on August 17 in the conference room of ICT department.

NM Zeaul Alam PAA, senior secretary, ICT Division, who was present as the chief guest, launched the Registration link. Dr Hasan Shahriar Kabir, director general, Bangladesh National Nutrition Council, was also present at the programme presided over by Md Mostafa Kamal, director general, DoICT.

Md Shahid Uddin Akbar, chief executive officer, BIID Foundation, started the ceremony with brief presentation of INO 2022.

Dr Bikorno Kumar Gosh from High-tech Park and Susanta Kumar Saha, advisor of BIID Foundation and former additional secretary to the government, also spoke on the occasion.
