Orion Pharma offers scholarship for medical students

Orion Pharma Ltd has launched a scholarship for poor and meritorious medical students. 

The initiative was taken as part of the company's corporate social responsibility, said a press release.

The launching ceremony was held at Orion House on August 18, which was presided over by Company Director and Trustee of Orion Pharma Welfare Trust Arzuda Karim and Managing Director of Orion Pharma Ltd Zareen Karim.

Under the "Orion Pharma Medical Scholarship", it is offering scholarship for 21 students from different government medical colleges with five students from each academic year. 

The programme ended with proving scholarship cheque to six medical students from different medical colleges.
